During Primavera Sound Porto 2022, we met one of the core gears of any music festival, the runners. The people who drive artists from the hotel lobby and into the backstage, and take them safely back home again. It’s a demanding and often underappreciated job, with drivers working around-the-clock to make sure musicians make it to their show safely and on time.

But it’s also a job filled with unique moments and stories with some of the biggest stars of the music world right now. In this piece we listened to their stories and got to know what it takes to do this job.
