INSA, born in the UK, started to paint at the age of 12. With a style that mixes reality and fantasy, his work is one of constant and precise mutation, becoming motion in unexpected ways.
Bodily parts, animals or geometrical figures are some of the elements that one can find in INSA’s work.
Although appearing in places all over the world it was in Rio de Janeiro that INSA received the highest attention with the largest animated paintwork of all time, spreading over 619,086 square feet (57 515 m2).
To INSA, it’s not each place that determines his work and he doesn’t identify himself as a graffiter. He sees himself, instead, as an artist that presents his work on the street.
